We will use this Canvas site for the workshop series, primarily for three activities:

NSF-GRFP Applicant Resources: We have created this site as a writing assistant for you. You will find a bevy of valuable materials, which you can return to after the live portion of the workshop ends. We collected everything from sample applications and application troubleshooting.
Application Brainstorming Discussion Boards: We have designed seven discussion boards for the first two weeks of the workshop series. Each discussion should take 30 minutes and will provide a space for initial brainstorming for your research and personal statements. Ideally, you will pluck information from each discussion and drop it into your draft statements.
Keeping Track of Your Workshop Work: We get it, it's summer, and this workshop series is virtual! You may miss a moment or two due to technical difficulties or have an unavoidable schedule conflict. If you have a schedule conflict or experience technical difficulties preventing you from connecting, notify your Canvas Group Leader. However, we designed this site to look back at workshop series sessions as much as possible. Note: There is weekly small group work that we will not record.
