  1. Support Resources for Families of Gender Diverse Youth” from HealthyChildren.org

This resource is for parents who have a gender diverse child to help them deal with uncertainty and navigate schooling, family, siblings, and the world at large.

  1. “Racism and Your Health: Resources for Teens” by Mass General for Children

This resource explains race and how it is not based on genetics of science. There are resources for connection, taking care, getting support, learning, as well as organizations, books, podcasts, and health resources.

  1. CDC

This resource acknowledges that the health of LGBT Youth can differ from their heterosexual peers. There are resources here from the CDC, other government agencies, and community organizations for LGBT+ youth, their friends, educators, parents, and family members.

  1. “Resources on Gender-Expansive Children & Youth” by The Human Rights Campaign

The Human Rights Campaign took surveys from more than 10,000 LGBT+ youth in 2012 and have written a bunch of terms to help kids and adults learn and understand some of the variety of terms regarding human gender.  

  1. “Hotlines and Web Sites for Teens” by PBS

This website is for teenagers with mental illness and struggles with suicide ideation.
