Exemplary Leadership Practices supervision methods enabled me to enhance my knowledge, skills, and cognitive processes while working with clients. The challenge of the process method enabled me to experiment and take risks. As a result of using Model the Way, I was able to clarify my values and establish a tone for my interactions with clients. The method of encouraging the heart was also useful. During team meetings, my field instructor announced my victories to acknowledge my contribution. I was encouraged to apply for a job at the school. As a result, I was able to obtain the new school social work position they created this year.

In my supervision, collaboration and teamwork helped me focus on my cognitive and affective processes. Collaborating with others allows me to showcase my knowledge and contribution, providing insight into my skill set and value to my team. I also gain insight and knowledge from others through this process.

When working with clients, I found supervision topics that focused on developing my confidence when implementing interventions at various levels to be most helpful. Also, how I contribute to diversity at University Academy. This was helpful to me because it reminded me of where I had come from. They also reminded me of where I am professionally, and why I chose the profession of social work to help make changes and help others.
